Are you a young girl with Mexican heritage, full of talent, grace, and confidence? If so, we invite you to join the prestigious Reinita Mexicana pageant and showcase your unique beauty and culture. We have different categories tailored to different age groups, ensuring every contestant has a fair chance to shine.
Here are the age categories and requirements for each division:

Reinita Mexicana Contestants:

Age range: 4-9 years old

Jr. Reina Mexicana Contestants:

Reina Mexicana Contestants:

Regardless of the category you choose, there are certain criteria that all contestants must meet.
These requirements are in place to ensure fairness and maintain the spirit of our pageant:

Mexican Descent: All contestants must be of Mexican descent, proud to represent their heritage.

Traditional Attire: Contestants must wear a traditional Mexican dress during the pageant. Embrace the rich cultural tapestry of Mexico through your attire.

Formal Wear: Every contestant is expected to have an evening gown for the formal wear segment. Showcase your elegance and poise.

Entrance Fee: A required entrance fee of $50 must be paid by August 26th, 2023, to secure your participation.

Age-Appropriate Makeup: Makeup should be suitable for the contestant's age, ensuring a natural and age-appropriate appearance.

Stage Presence: Contestants should be comfortable engaging with the audience and displaying confidence on stage.

Panel Questions: Be prepared to answer questions posed by a panel of judges. Showcase your intelligence, charisma, and knowledge.

Orientation: Attend the mandatory orientation scheduled a few weeks before the pageant to receive important information and guidance.

Volunteer Commitment: Agree to volunteer for a minimum of three hours at this year's Mexican festival. You can choose the time and day that suits you best.
Once crowned as a titleholder, there are additional responsibilities:

Volunteering: Titleholders must agree to volunteer at events throughout their reign, giving back to the community.

Representing the Title: Participate in local events as a representative of your title, promoting the values of the Reinita Mexicana pageant.

Promotional Videos: Be available for promotional videos for next year's pageant, sharing your experience and encouraging others to join.

Crowning the Next Titleholder: At the next year's Mexican Festival, the current titleholders will have the honor of crowning their successors.
