Explore a curated selection of authentic Mexican street food and traditional delicacies, prepared by local families and small businesses who have shared their heritage with Grand Rapids for over five decades.
Tacos al Pastor

Getting There & Parking
Calder Plaza is at 300 Monroe Ave NW. Underground parking is available directly beneath the plaza with the entrance on Monroe Avenue.
Admission & Cost
Admission is free, as it has been since 1969. We recommend $40–$60 per day for food, drinks, and mercado artisan vendors.
Accessibility & Safety
The plaza is fully accessible. In the event of weather emergencies, the lower level of the plaza serves as our shelter.
Security & Bag Policy
Clear bags only (max 12"x12"x6") are permitted. Expect security checks at all gates. All cultures are warmly welcome.
