Tacos al Pastor

Thinly sliced pork marinated in dried chilies and spices, cooked on a vertical trompo and topped with fresh pineapple slivers.

Churros

Crispy fried dough coated in seasonal cinnamon sugar, served hot with a side of thick, spiced Mexican chocolate for dipping.

Elotes & Esquites

Grilled sweet corn on the cob, smothered in crema, lime, chili powder, and crumbled cotija cheese—the quintessential street food experience.

Aguas Frescas

Refreshing fruit infusions featuring classic recipes like creamy Horchata, tart Jamaica hibiscus, and sweet, tangy Tamarindo.

Tamales

Slow-steamed masa dough filled with hand-shredded meats or savory vegetables, a staple of the MHAWM community since 1969.

Paletas

Handcrafted Mexican ice pops made with real fruit and cream, capturing the vibrant essence of traditional street treats.

Around the Plaza

Discover the artisanal heart of the festival. Beyond the aromas of the kitchen, Calder Plaza transforms into a vibrant Mercado, showcasing the master craftsmanship of Mexican families across generations.
